Crime, Security & Peace in the Community
The community is the cornerstone of society without which no institution or system can function. An important factor in a stable modern society is the issue of peace and security, without which the long term upliftment of the community is not possible. Issues of concern include drugs, violence, theft, prostitution, drinking, etc and the trends in society which cause these need to be assessed, and a medium-long term solution (s) found. In partnership with service providers and other bodies TFI endeavours to work for solutions to these community problems.
Have you been victims of race crime ? Did you report the incident ? Where did it occur in the UK ?
According to the Police Race Relations Department, there are no major problems and the figures for reporting these crimes is very low.
Is this a true reflection of the situation? or are people not reporting these abuses as they do not believe any action will be taken anyway?
Unless crime is reported the figures will not appear in Official and Police statistics and likewise if it isn't deemed to be a problem then resources will not be assigned to tackle it. If it helps you then please send us the information as well as the Police and let us know if you received a satisfactory response from the Police to your reporting.
