Solutions for Poverty Alleviation

Ultimately global poverty needs to be resolved according to a set of principles and ideals but within the current contemporary reality. Consequently, a broad range of short-medium and long term strategies need to be developed so that there is a consistent, consolidated action orientated approach which will start to make a difference immediately but eventually leading to a long term comprehensive solution.

Strategic Measures Include:-

1. Raising awareness about poverty and its causes.

2. To help the poor and needy in their immediate needs with respect to food, shelter, clothing, education and health in developing countries where elected governments are unwilling or unable to do so.

3.  Work for a long term solution to poverty alleviation by establishing a social welfare system which will guarantee the basic needs of the poor and the needy on a permanent basis as well as create a socio-economic infrastructure for income generation and wealth distribution.

All of the actions must be acted upon immediately and simultaneously.
