Educate A Poor Child

Basic needs provision ie food, shelter, clothing, education and health, are the basic fundamental God-given rights of all human beings which should be provided irrespective of geographical location, faith, gender or ethnicity. However, despite these rights approx 50% of the worlds population (3 billion people) live on less than $2 per day and thereby do not have the financial means to acquire these basic needs to support themselves, their families and communities leading to abject, absolute poverty. Many countries in Asia, Africa and South America are visible examples of this. To change the situation of these people requires a concerted combination of short-medium and long-term policies for the alleviation of poverty.

Education provision is the foundational basic right of all human beings from which communities develop as nations and provide benefit to their social environment. There are many poor countries where millions of children do not have the opportunity to acquire basic education.

A person's education often lays the foundation for the kind of life they are able to live. So few issues are of greater immediate concern for any society than education, for it is through the kind of education given or not given to the young that the future of the global community shall be to a large extent determined.
