The significance of this conference stems from the fact that it highlights the links amongst natural sciences, including Astronomy, Space Sciences, Engineering, Medical and Basic Sciences, as well as the Islamic Sharia Sciences. It also emphasises the role of the Arabs in establishing these sciences and the contribution of Islamic culture to human civilisation.
In addition to the academic and poster sessions, the conference includes a number of exhibitions featuring scientific and heritage manuscripts and instruments. It will also include two special workshops on the heritage of Astronomy and Space Sciences as well as Herbal Medicine. It is expected that more than 200 international scholars will participate in this conference from various fields.
