Cultural Exhibition - Nelson, UK

As part of the ongoing programme of building bridges between people and communities through cultural awareness and interfaith dialogue an event was successfully organised in the MWF Centre, Nelson, Pendle on 16th May 2007 @ 2pm.

The event was attended by professionals, the mayor, councillors, community organisations and ordinary people, who gained an opportunity to engage with the local Muslim community and to better understand the Muslim way of life.

The exhibition contained a numerous variety of visual displays including poster displays, artefacts and ornaments.

The event was jointly organised by Jamia Masjid Minhaj ul Quran, Thinkers Forum UK, Minhaj Welfare Foundation UK, East Lancs Community Action Projects (ELCAP) and Pendle Community Radio (PCR).
