1. Scholarships for Poor, Able Children

Scholarships are being provided in the following :-

2. Creation of a Library and Donation of Books

  • Establishing a Library
    Each year books will be bought and/or collected via a book bank. These books will be utilised to establish libraries within local community centres and mosques to create, promote and encourage a knowledge-based culture.

 

  • Donation of Books to Needy, Poor Schools
    Wherever possible collated/purchased books will be used to create a library and/or donated to poor, needy schools in rural areas.


3. Academic Merit Awards

  • Best Student Awards

    At the end of every academic year student merit awards will be given for academic excellence and Community Participation.

    The following Awards will be given:
    • To the Best Female Girl Student (known as the Fatima Merit Award)
    • To the best Male Boy Student (known as the Ibrahim Merit Award)
    • To the best Overall Girl or Boy Student achieving not only good academic results but also making a good contribution to the community and known to have a good personality, moral character (known as the Abdullah Merit Award).
    • In each case the student prize will consist of a cash prize plus educational books/material.
    • All neighbouring towns/villages will be incorporated to encourage greater competition.

 

  • Best School Award
    The school with the best academic results in the core subject areas (Sciences, Maths, Languages, Islamic Studies) and producing all-rounded individuals with positive community contributions will be rewarded with a Merit Award (Cash Prize).

4. Sponsor a Child Scheme

  • Select a Child to Sponsor
    If you would like to specify a child to sponsor in a particular family or known area but through the administrative structure of Isaar Trust you are more than welcome to do so.

    Please supply all the necessary details and monies, and we can jointly instigate this.

 

5. Education Seminars, Conferences & Publications

  • Seminars and conferences will be organised to discuss the contemporary education issues and concerns, as well solutions and a way forward. All stakeholders, agencies and bodies will be invited to participate, and to develop long term strategies and solutions. On an ongoing basis policy issues and concerns will be published and distributed widely within the communities.
