Causes of Poverty

There are wide range of factors which have caused poverty in the world, some of these are historical i.e. colonialism, imperialism and the slave trade, whilst others are more recent i.e. mismanagement, corruption, trade injustice, greed, etc. These will be discussed in more detail.
